These printers are just noisy. Some more than others. I have had some with 2 mil on them and are still quiet and others with just 200K that are noisy as heck. Only solution I have found is to place in quiet mode. Runs as slow as with the manual feeder but at least does not make anywhere the noise it makes when in normal mode.
